Line 11 on the Shanghai Metro is a subway line in Shanghai, China. It has two lines: Line A (the Main Line) and Line B (the Branch Line). The two lines have the same route and stations after Jiading New City, but start from different stations. Line A starts from Jiading North, while Line B starts from Anting and connects with Shanghai International Circuit. The line is coloured maroon[1] on system maps.
Overview
The 1st phase of Line 11, which runs from Jiading North to Jiangsu Road, has opened on 31 December 2009.[2][3] A branch line from Anting has opened on 29 March 2010.[4]
The 2nd phase runs from Jiangsu Road to Luoshan Road and can be change to South Part in Luoshan Road. This part is under construction and scheduled to open before the end of 2012.[5][6]
The 3rd phase will connect Luoshan Road and the proposed Shanghai Disneyland. This section is 9.4 kilometres (5.8 mi) long with 3 stations. Construction is planned for 2010-2020.[7]
